Sue Williams is the author of Murder with the Lot (Text Publishing), her debut crime novel featuring smart, sassy self-appointed private investigator, Cass Tuplin, proprietor of a takeaway in Rusty Bore.

Sue Williams is a science and travel writer and a chartered accountant who also holds a PhD in marine biology.

Katherine Howell now has six Detective Ella Marconi novels under her belt. Frantic, her first novel, won Sisters in Crime’s 2008 Davitt award for best crime fiction. Cold Justice made the Australian bestseller list and also won the same Davitt award in 2011, making Katherine the only author to have won it twice. Her latest book, Web of Deceit (Macmillan) is just out – to rave reviews.

Katherine worked as a paramedic for fifteen years while completing her Bachelor and Masters’ degrees in creative writing and now teaches writing and editing in Queensland.
