Free Crime Writing Workshop – Mornington Library

Do you want to write a crime novel? Come along to Mornington Library’s two day crime writing short course.
Join best-selling author, Vikki Petraitis, as she guides you through the genre expectations of crime, protagonists and antagonists, plotting and setting.
There will be clear instructions and lots of tips.
This workshop will run over Saturday the 13/01/18 & Saturday 20/01/18, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, so please make sure you are free to attend both days.
Vikki Petraitis has been writing since the early 1990s and her best-selling book about The Frankston Murders, is still widely read today. Vikki’s latest book, Once a Copper, tells the story of Brian ‘The Skull’ Murphy, known once as Australia’s toughest cop. It will be released in March 2018. Vikki appears on panels and at comic debates, and is a regular judge for the national Ned Kelly Awards. She is currently working on her PhD in Creative Writing, and teaches short courses in memoir and creative writing at libraries.
