Sandi Wallace book chat at Bayswater Library

September 15, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

Sandi Wallace would love to see you at Bayswater Library on Friday 15 September at 2.00pm to chat about her latest release, Dead Again, writing and books. And don’t be shy – the audience is encouraged to get involved with questions!

The second instalment in the Georgie Harvey and John Franklin series, Dead Again, was released earlier this year, and B. Michael Radburn, author of The Falls said: “Sandi Wallace has mastered rural crime,” while Jaye Ford, author of Darkest Place dubbed it: “A gripping twist on the bushfire threat all Australians live with.” It follows Sandi’s debut novel, Tell Me Why, winner of the 2015 Davitt Award Readers’ Choice and shortlisted for the Davitt Award Best Debut.

Sandi will also talk about what’s coming next. On the Job is a thrilling collection of her police-themed short fiction and verse out in November 2017. The stories include the Scarlet Stiletto Awards prize-winners “Busted”, “Silk Versus Sierra” and “Losing Heidi”, and “Impact”, a finalist in the international Cutthroat Journal Rick DeMarinis Short Story Award. The next instalment in Sandi’s rural crime series, Into the Fog, will follow in 2018.

Sandi’s books will be available for sale and signing. This is a free event but please book on 9800 6498 or online at https://web.erl.vic.gov.au/web/webcal.php?event=view&event_id=49038&t=1505397600
